How do I import a custom token to an external non-custodial wallet (WLD)?

If you are using a non-custodial wallet that does not list WLD, there's still a way to withdraw WLD from your World App account. To do so, you'll need to obtain the token address and manually enter the information into your external wallet.

Please attempt the steps below only if you have full understanding of the process. You risk losing your tokens if you withdraw to an unsupported wallet. And make sure all transactions are done on the Optimism network.

1. Copy the token contract address of the token you'd like to import. For WLD, you can find the token contract by entering the Details of a transaction, selecting the Worldcoin (WLD) hyperlink, and scrolling down to Contract.

2. Once you have the address copied, head to your external non-custodial wallet and find their Import tokens page. Make sure you're on the Optimism network.

3. Then paste in the token address and enter in the token symbol (WLD for Worldcoin).

4. After you successfully import the token, you should be able to see the token reflected in your wallet.
