Overview

Claiming Your WLD 

1. Have a World ID verified account: You must be a verified human to receive your WLD. If you haven't verified your account, book an appointment to visit an Orb and verify your World ID. 

2. Sign up for the airdrop: After you verify, eligible users will be able to enroll in the airdrop. When you do so, you will see the number of WLD that you can claim. You are able to claim this WLD once a month.

3. Claim your first share of WLD: You can claim your first share of WLD immediately after you verify and enroll. However, the transaction will not be submitted on the blockchain for 24 hours.

4. Every month, claim additional shares: Every month, on the day of the month that you verified, you will be able to claim more WLD. You will have a full month to claim your WLD until the next share of WLD becomes available.

Frequently Asked Questions 

Token Reservation

Will I still be able to reserve WLD tokens?

Users will not be able to reserve any additional WLD starting August 1st, 2024. All previously reserved WLD will be claimable, with the expiration date moved an additional year into the future, July 31, 2025.

What will happen to tokens that I have reserved?

Reservation expiration has been extended until July 31, 2025, meaning that you get an extra year to verify in order to redeem your reservations. You will still be able to redeem your reservations once you verify your World ID, but you will not be able to reserve any additional WLD starting August 1st, 2024.

Token Claiming

 How often can I claim WLD?

You can claim WLD monthly, opening every month on the day of the month that you verified your World ID. You will have a month to claim the WLD before it expires and the next portion of your WLD becomes claimable.

What is the magnitude of the new grants?

The first of the new grants will be larger in magnitude than the previous grants, and each subsequent grant will be slightly smaller than the one before it. Therefore, the earlier that you verify your World ID, the more WLD you will be eligible receive.

Will I still receive WLD immediately after I verify?

Yes. You will be able to claim WLD immediately after verification and enrolling in the airdrop program. Your first claim will be processed after 24 hours.

Will the amount of WLD that I will receive change?

No. You will still receive the same amount of WLD once you verify and enroll in the airdrop program. Just as before, the earlier that you verify the more WLD you will be eligible to receive.

How do I claim WLD in World App?

Depending on your region, you can claim WLD on a monthly basis.

To claim WLD, you have to:

1. Have a verified World ID.

2. Sign up to claim WLD within the Worldcoin App.

Signing up 

1. Open your World App and tap on the World menu

2. Select the Worldcoin App, tap on Sign Up

3. Tap on the Sign Up Now button

4. Select all the legal confirmation checkboxes and tap on Continue

5. Your Worldcoins will be calculated. Once they're ready, the Your Worldcoins are ready message will appear on screen

6. Once it appears, keep tapping on the Continue button to move forward

7. You'll have the option to Enable notifications to remind you when it's time to claim your WLD. If you'd prefer not to turn on notifications, select Ask me later

Claiming WLD on a monthly basis 

1. Open World App, then tap on the World menu

2. Open the Worldcoin App to claim your monthly WLD share

Claiming previously reserved WLD

You need to have a verified World ID account to redeem any reserved WLD by July 31, 2025. To claim reserved WLD, follow the steps below:

1. Open World App, then tap on the World menu

2. Open the Worldcoin App

3. If you've already signed up and you have been World ID verified for over 24 hours, you will be able to claim previously reserved WLD by tapping on the Redeem reservations button 

4. If you've already signed up but you haven't been World ID verified for over 24 hours, your reserved WLD will be available in a few hours
